Festival Season

We’ve got a busy festival season this year!

We’re playing a bunch of festivals this year – here’s the line up:

Isle of Wight Festival – 12th-15th June

The Ohmz performing on Life's a Beach Stage at Isle of Wight Festival 2013

Life’s a Beach, 2013

The Isle of Wight Festival is one of the first we ever played, and it’s great to be going back. We’re playing again on the Life’s a Beach stage – the perfect place for some reggae vibes in the sun! We’ll be announcing the slot soon, so keep your eyes open.

We’ll also be playing in the great Kashmir Café, an independent stage run by the local Quay Arts Centre. This is always a great place to be at the festival, and all the acts playing are worth watching. They’ve even got our very good friends Bigtopp playing!
If you’re in between bands or just exploring the festival and want to check out some amazing talent, great beer and relaxed atmosphere, head on over – we’ll be spending a lot of time there, so come and say hello. Harvey might even give you a performance like this –

Camp Bestival – 31st July-3rd August

We’re chuffed to bits to be playing Camp Bestival again this year. It’s easily one of our favourite festivals, and in such an amazing place. We’re playing on the Band Stand, so if you’re there come on down and see us!

V-Dub Island – 14th-17th August and Watchet LIVE – 22nd-24th August

V-Dub Island is a small festival aimed at Volkswagen owners, and this year is based at the very same site as the original Isle of Wight Festival in 1970! We hope to soak up some of that atmosphere and put in a performance Hendrix would have been proud of! (:

Then we’re at the charming Watchet LIVE Festival! This small community-organised festival is set on a hill overlooking the picturesque village of Watchet in Somerset. We played this last year as well, and we’re honoured to have been asked back.

Bestival – 4th-7th September

Reggae Roots StageBestival this year have a brand new stage that they’ve set up just for us (well, that’s what we’re going with)! They’ve also asked some other acts you may have heard of too – Prince Fatty, Trojan Sound System and Congo Natty… (:

The Reggae Roots stage is going to be amazing, and we’re so excited to be playing with these reggae and roots superstars. If you’re about on the Sunday at Bestival, come and say hello!
